NEW Chrome Carbide Inserts Offer 2X Tooling Life Performance
HICKORY, NC — Grasche USA, the premier US manufacturer of custom saw plates and carbide supplier, has introduced a new grade of corrosion-resistant chrome carbide insert manufactured for the woodworking industry by the Ceratizit Group, the world’s leading carbide insert producer. Grasche USA is the North American distribution partner of the Ceratizit Group.
“Chrome carbide inserts represent a new, extended life grade of carbide insert,” explained Richard Comer, the owner of Grasche, USA. “They are engineered with a revolutionary new submicron chrome binder that improves the performance and the cutting life of the finished tool up to two times — all at a price point that’s comparable to current conventional grades.”
In scientifically advanced chrome carbide inserts, cobalt is replaced with a corrosion-resistant chrome binder that reduces premature tool wear created by acids present in wood cutting, optimizing machining times and improving overall performance of the finished tools up to two times. The grade designation is KCR08, its optimized binder system also increases the toughness and life of the finished tool, making it incredibly resistant to impact and chipping.
Manufactured by the Ceratizit Group in Luxembourg, these new chrome carbide inserts are delivered “in the red box” and are now available from authorized Grasche USA distributors.
Founded in 1979, Grasche USA supplies carbide inserts and is the premier US manufacturer of superior quality custom circular saw plates for the woodworking industry. For more information, visit Grasche at AWFS Booth #10311, www.grasche.com or call 828-322-3253 to find a distributor near you.
